In June 2020 at the height of the pandemic, I started Kamui Colors!

Since then, we have sold almost 60,000 stickers, 2,000 keychains, 3,500 patches and 4,000 articles of clothing!

Reflective material

One of the key moats of my business is special reflective spot design.

We use special printers to enhance 3M material creating stickers with reflective shine in key areas, while maintaining gloss finish in others.

We also specialize in holographic design!

Holographic peeker stickers are extremely popular stickers used mostly on car rear windows, but can be applied to any surface.

People love our stickers because they relate to certain anime, vocaloid, or vtuber characters and want to show the world who they identify with!

Sticker design

Kamui creates not only peeker stickers, but full body stickers and slap stickers as well!

Over the last 4+ years we have created nearly 500 unique designs for 20+ animes, vocaloids and vtubers. We design these from the ground up from sketches, to line art to finished designs. Then move onto testing proper color schemes that best fit the spot holo or reflective process!

Patch design

We use a combination of chenille and embroidery to give patches a 3D texture!

Kamui Colors offers patches with either sew on, iron on, or velcro backing! This diversification of application options allows us to apply our unique patches to nearly any surface!

Clothing design

Specially designed tie dye in combination with our 3D patches create true one of a kind clothing!

Every tie dye crewneck and hoodie we make is truly a 1 of 1. No two tie dye designs will ever come out the same, so our customers feel as if their beloved clothing is special to them and them alone !

The design process

All stickers and designs we create start in the same place - sketching!

The sketching process is arguably the most enjoyable; during this beginning stage we aim to create a unique design that can convey the emotion a character holds.

After sketching, we make the final outline also known as the line art.

Once the line art is finalized and the character is looking as true to the source material as possible, we move to start coloring and bringing it to life!

Coloring can take multiple days or even weeks and can consist of many different versions.

Once we have final designs ready to go, we decide which areas will be holographic or reflective if any.

Finally, we start printing and laminating!

How my degree helped my business!

I was fortunate enough to have been able to attend the University of California, Riverside for my Computer Science with Business Applications degree.

This combination of computer science and business courses allowed me to thrive in multiple fields I use in my day to day life.

I have always been fascinated with business. The intersection of using custom computer programs to spot design stickers while using my business education to bolster my real world application of business fundamentals has been invaluable.

Taking core business courses including but especially marketing and distribution management, financial management, electronic commerce, business law, advertising, and databases for management has helped my business tremendously. I am extremely lucky to do what I love doing and only plan for my business to grow!
